Labor Day Weekend Festival

September 3, 4, 5, & 6, 2021

Buoyed by the success of other events for the past 30 years, the Historic Granbury Merchants Association is sponsoring another fun family Festival  – Labor Day Weekend!  The Festival will run Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday September 4 – 6.  Designed to be great fun for both visitors and locals alike, this Festival promises to be a great way to celebrate the end of summer and to Kick-off  Fall! 

Street Vendors will be selling items around the Square and of course all the shops around the Square will feature the annual Sidewalk Sales! 

Free Karaoke (sponsored by D’Vine Wine), a Street Dance with Lost Shaker of Salt (Jimmy Buffett tribute band) both on the Bridge St. main stage.

Also on the city beach will be all the usual water activities – kayak’s and tubes etc., rent a bicycle, stand up waterboard, or even a surrey to ride to the square or to the parks.  On Sunday Night at 8 p.m. there’s going to be a sight to behold- a lighted boat parade on Lake Granbury.  

Make your plans now to come support this great festival!!!  A great time will be had by all- because there is ALWAYS something fun going on – right here in Granbury!

Many shops will all be running extended hours Friday thru Monday, and the Vendors will be open Saturday 10 to 8 and Sunday 10 to 6. Monday 10 to 4. There will be Kids Zone, Food, Ketzlers Beer Garden, Live Music and more!

Lighted Boat Parade 

September 5 – Sunday Dusk

Sunday night September 5th Lake Granbury. Dusk.
Boats leave Stumpys Cove approx 8:15pm – 8:30 pm.
They travel to Rockin S Bar & Grill for official judging. (a great place to view parade)
Then they travel towards the downtown area reaching Mesquite Grill (another great viewing location) and return back to Stumpys Cove.
Enjoy the view from the City Beach and Conference Center Board walk and any open view area. Should be approx. 60 well lit boats!
Boat participants-
You will be assigned a (large) entry number to display for judging.
Meet us at the Stumpy’s Cove  before dark. We parade to the Pearl St bridge and back by City Beach.
Numbers available at Stumpy’s Saturday September 4th 3pm – 6pm and 6pm – 8pm Sunday September 5th. Their long dock.
Prizes awarded for decorations!
