A Granbury Salute Memorial Weekend
May 26 @ 10:00 am – May 28 @ 5:00 pm

Full 3 day schedule of events HERE.

A Granbury Salute Memorial Weekend will blend the two common perceptions of Memorial Day by kicking off the summer season while still paying tribute to the real reason for the special day. The patriotic festival, taking place May 26-28 on Granbury’s historic downtown square, will feature family activities, art and craft booths, food vendors, live music, vintage military vehicles, hot dog eating contest, a special children’s play area, and much more.

“We are so happy to see our annual festival return to the real roots of Memorial Day,” said Brenda Hyde, Event Coordinator for the Historic Granbury Merchants Association. “This will allow our community to celebrate the beginning of summer while remembering those who have fought to make these events possible.”

In keeping with the importance of the holiday, a traditional Memorial Day ceremony will take place on Monday, May 28 to remember the heroes we have lost and honor those still with us. While in town, visitors can also stop by the Granbury Memorial Lane Project and also view the Field of Flags to further pay homage to our Veterans.
