Calling all barbecue lovers! Head to Granbury for General Granbury’s Birthday Bash.  Put your taste buds up to the challenge of choosing the best ribs, brisket or beans! Think you’ve got what it takes to win? Share your own barbecue cookin’ in the annual Bean & BBQ Cook-off! 

With craft food and shopping vendors, fun activities, live music, and free cake and ice cream, it’s a great event for the entire family.

Don’t miss some of the big Texas artists hitting the stage on the Historic Granbury Square’ Main Stage, and of course, the hilarious outhouse race. 


Memorial Day & Weekend Celebration

The 3 day weekend honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country and also kicks off the summer season in Granbury.  This patriotic festival will feature family activities, arts and craft booths, food vendors, patriotic live music, vintage military vehicles, hot dog eating contest, a pie eating contest, activities for the entire family, and so much more.

In keeping with the importance of the holiday, a traditional Memorial Day ceremony will take place to remember the heroes lost and honor those still with us. 


Harvest Moon Festival of the Arts

This long running festival showcases over 80 artists, makers and craftspeople. You’ll find to food, local entertainment and seasonal activities and all surrounded by the most vibrant historic square in Texas.
